Inaugurated June 5th, 1999 by her H.R.H Princess Muna Al-Hussein, Badr Ad Duja introduced a new dimension to Jordanian arts and crafts centers.
Founded by its owner May Khoury who aims to develop the work of individual crafts men and women, through her exclusive designs and creations, which emphasize the essence of Arab and Jordanian culture and heritage.
This freedom of artistic expression allows one to savour traditional authenticity combined with contemporary splendor
Our creations feature the biggest variety of exclusive traditional designs that create a statement.
A team of artisans work on executing our designs of furniture – wall hangings – home accessories & kaftans, as most of our creations are a mixture of old and new materials incorporated together to form the final product.
Old traditional pieces include quality items chosen with care and knowledge from Jordan and the orient, namely; furniture – rugs – textiles – costumes – silver – jewellery & accessories – brass – wood & pottery.
Traditional Jordanian handicrafts include new reproductions of embroidery – ceramics – mosaics and others.
