Here is the legend of one man whose sole desire was to take advantage of a market not yet discovered by many, a marketing so successful it would take the country by storm. A vision, small and distant, yet it never drove away his ambition of becoming a major success, a local icon which people will remember for generations.

He took his first step in 1935, young, active and hard working, knowing in order to achieve his dream to become a successful business man he needed to be prepared for any circumstance he would encounter, he knew this all to well which is why even after his death in 2002 he is still remembered as one of Jordan's greatest and most successful business men of his time.

In downtown Amman is where he was established, walking down Al-Hashmi street on a regular basis, from the crack of dawn preparing all the items he required for the restaurant, after which he would walk down the street greeting his neighbors and the local youths.

At this point he needed to think big, due to large orders & consumer demands, opening a branch in at King Hussien street to commend his business.

Through out the years the business flourished drawing more and more customers from all parts of Jordan, yet still working hard to please them with the highest quality of foods to show to the public that he is no small time low-wage worker but Subhi Jabri, the father and founder of what has become an infamous middle-eastern restaurant.

The restaurant became a place where people wouldnt just go there to eat but to met each other, socialize and relax in the casual atmosphere. It had become a landmark known by all.

In 1992 is when the construction of Jabri Al-Markazi in Wasfi Al-Tal street, why you may ask has he decided on a larger aspect of Jabri? This particular branch would not only provide fast food and drink, this branch provided ballrooms for all occasions and private events, still retaining an original Arabian decor and Jordanian hospitality all in new modern forms to keep up to date with today's demands and requirements.

Subhi Jabri's eldest son, Mohammad Khier Jabri, was in charge of watching out for foreign markets, see how other countries and firms dealt with their local and international customers to potentially bring the best into Jabri. He was also in charge of how and what ingredients went into the foods and desserts of Jabri, as well as providing the right machinery to do so.

Yousef Jabri, spent most of his catering education abroad in Great Britain, Where he adapted the likings and culture of the British. His passion, at first, was chocolates & European treats, he studied these two common factors with great desire and hard work, Which is why Jabri has evolved from a small restaurant to one of the largest brand names known today in Jordan.
