The American Community School (ACS) is an independent, co-educational day school offering a college preparatory instructional program leading to an American high school diploma. The school offers educational programs from pre-kindergarten through grade twelve. Founded in 1955, ACS serves American and expatriate students from the business and diplomatic communities, as well as host country nationals. The school is housed in a modern plant on approximately nine acres of land in west Amman. Facilities include thirty-three classrooms, three science laboratories, two computer laboratories, one library, a sports and fine arts center, two playing fields, two tennis courts, and facilities for art and music education. |
