Considered one of the leading Lebanese Restaurants in Amman and is one of the few remaining vestiges of its type. It is in the heart of the city; however, during the 1950's Amman was just beginning to spread out of the Downtown area. Its location in the 2nd circle was then the edge of town where modern houses were springing up in a style that reflected a break from tradition.
That was the General Information about the Restaurant, it is situated in a nice area, the Restaurant is actually a Villa converted to a Restaurant, the Welcome was friendly, seats are comfortable to a level, the ambiance is nice, the Menu is big, full of mezza (Salads), the food in general was good quality, the only thing that will not give it a 5 star is the Crowd, if you go in the prime time you will feel too crowded and its noisy, the service will get slower and the food feels left out. We liked the Outdoor Dining better as the fresh air and ambiance makes it a really good experience, Indoor is good too and might even feel less crowded. The food itself is very nicely presented and looks very clean, the items in the Menu makes it a real trip to the past with original Arabic food, for those not in the taste of Arabic food or for a change they also serve International dishes, not a very wide selection but enough, if you are visiting Jordan or live there, this Restaurant you have to visit, very few Restaurants offer what Fakher Al din Restaurant can. The bill though was way above average, the prices clearly indicate that this Restaurant is not in the hunt for the Middle class, but if you are willing to pay a little extra, the experience is well worth it.
